Our commitment

JB Mobile Homes is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that buying a home is one of the most important decisions a family makes, and the information needed to make that decision should be reachable regardless of how someone interacts with the web. We treat accessibility as part of doing the work well, not as a compliance checkbox.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the international standard for making digital content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with visual, motor, auditory, and cognitive disabilities.

What we’ve done

• Text contrast tuned to meet AA on every page.
• Keyboard navigation supported throughout — every interactive element is reachable and focus is visible.
• Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
• Alt text on photos that convey information; decorative imagery marked appropriately.
• Forms with labelled inputs, clear error messaging, and tap targets sized for mobile use.
• A responsive layout that works at 320px width and up, without requiring horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

We’re a small team and the site is improving continuously. Some content — particularly third-party PDFs from our manufacturer (Cavco floor plan documents) — may not yet be fully accessible. If you run into a floor plan you can’t read, call us at (318) 729-5392 and we’ll walk you through it.
